Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley (BGCHV) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing young people in Orange County, California with safe, nurturing environments where they can learn, grow, and reach their full potential. We serve approximately 5,000 youth across 11 locations, offering programs in academic success, healthy lifestyles, character development, and the arts. What does Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley do?

All across the United States and on U.S. military bases worldwide, more than 5,000 Boys & Girls Clubs are changing the lives of our youth and positively affecting their future. Although all Boys & Girls Clubs are affiliated with the national organization, each uniquely adapts to the population, cultures, and demographics it serves.

At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley, we operate eleven sites in Huntington Beach and Fountain Valley that serve 5,000 youth each year, from infants through teens. While the majority of youth served come from Huntington Beach and Fountain Valley, youth from more than 60 cities throughout the Orange County area are served by the Club each year.

What age groups does Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley serve?
Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley serves young people from ages 6 weeks old through 18 years old. Our preschools serve ages 6 weeks to 6 years old, our school age Clubs serve youth in TK-8th grade, our ClubHouse Academy and Sports programs serve toddlers through teens. What programs and activities are offered at BGCHV?
BGCHV offers a wide range of programs across five core areas: academic success, healthy lifestyles, character and leadership development, the arts, and career readiness. Programs include homework help and tutoring, STEM activities, sports and fitness, visual and performing arts, mentoring, and more.

What are the hours of operation at Boys & Girls Club locations?

How much does it cost to participate in Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley programs?
BGCHV is committed to making our programs accessible to all Huntington Beach and Fountain Valley families who need us. Some programs are completely free to participate in, while others have a modest weekly or monthly fee. Financial assistance is available through the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program and through our sliding scale scholarship program. If you have concerned about affording program fees, please contact the office at your Club location and ask about our scholarship program.

Is financial assistance available for families who cannot afford membership?
Yes. Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley believes that no child should be turned away due to cost. Financial assistance is available for qualifying families. Financial assistance is available through the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program and through our sliding scale scholarship program. Does the Boys & Girls Club provide transportation?
Yes, the Boys & Girls Club provides bus transportation! Each day of the school year, our fleet of 20 yellow school buses transports children from 40 local schools in five school districts to and from our programs. Our transportation program ensures kids can get to the Club safely while their parents are busy at work.
