Full Day Summer Day Camp

Dates: June 3 – August 30, 2024

Hours: 6:30am – 6:00pm, Monday – Friday. Closed July 4

Ages: 1st-8th grades at all school age branches, Kindergarten (Fall 2024) at Haynes HB Branch Only

Cost:

  • Full-Time Contract, 8+ weeks: $160/week.
    Attend for 8 or more weeks of your choice. Weeks must be pre-scheduled.
  • By the Week Contract, 1-7 weeks: $185
    Attend weekly throughout the summer. Based on availability.
  • By the Day Contract: $40/day
    Participate daily based on availability
  • Kinder Summer Program – HB Branch Only. Will enroll in Kindergarten in Fall 2024
    Full-Time Rate: $170/week    By the Week Rate: $195/week
  • Annual membership fee of $25 required for all members, valid September – August.

Full Day Program Online Registration

With your contract, your child can participate at the Club Monday-Friday, 6:30am – 6:00pm during your selected weeks. The Club anticipates that all weeks will fill up quickly, so reserve your weeks today for the full day program.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

At the Boys & Girls Club, kids spend their days learning, having fun, and making friends! Our programs are designed to help kids reach their full potential. Kids can move freely through activities in each of our rooms, choosing from a wide variety of youth development and enrichment programming focused on: Education, the Arts, Sports & Recreation, Healthy Lifestyles, Good Character, and Social Emotional Learning.

THEME WEEKS

Each week of summer, the Club will focus its programming on special theme weeks. Choose your favorites or sign up for them all! Theme weeks will include:

  • The Big Blue – And Beyond! – Week 1 – June 3-7, 2024 – Kingston Branch Only
    An ocean-themed summer week will give members an exciting opportunity to explore marine life, learn about ocean conservation, and engage in water-based activities.
  • Mad Science – Week 2 – June 10 – 14, 2024 – Kingston Branch Only
    Embrace your inner mad scientist by conducting fun and messy science experiments, exploring chemistry, physics, and biology concepts in a hands-on way.
  • Around the World – Week 3 – June 17 – 21, 2024 – Kingston Branch & Pacific Life Foundation Branch
    Come fly with us! Members will become “world travelers” and fill out their passports as they learn about new cultures and far-away places all from the comfort of the Boys & Girls Club!
  • Poolside Palooza – Week 4 – June 24 – June 28, 2024 – All locations
    Start summer with a splash! This week, we will have fun in the sun as we design our own pool floats and participate in water activities.
  • American Gladiator  – Week 5 – July 1-5, 2024 (Closed July 4) – All locations
    Celebrate America’s birthday with us! Make classic American cuisine, patriotic hats, and more.
  • Mixed Media Madness – Week 6 – July 8-12, 2024 – All locations
    Club members will explore their creativity and try out different art materials and techniques to create their own amazing masterpieces!
  • Be Our Guest – Week 7 – July 15-19, 2024 – All locations
    Let’s get cooking! Club members will have a fun and educational culinary experience, fostering a love for cooking and inspiring creativity in the kitchen.
  • Wilderness Explorers – Week 8 – July 22 – 26, 2024 – All locations
    Go on a wilderness adventure with us! From deserts to swamps to forests, we will learn about plants and animals as we explore our environment through nature crafts and outdoor challenges.
  • Shipwrecked – Week 9 – July 29- August 2, 2024 – All locations
    Ahoy mateys! Join our crew for a week of adventure at sea. Design your own pirate hat and ship before setting sail on a treasure hunt around the Club.
  • XXXIII Summer Games – Week 10 – August 5-9, 2024 – All locations
    It’s Olympic Week! Members will celebrate the spirit of athleticism, teamwork, and friendly competition inspired by the Olympic Games.

HALF-DAY SPECIALTY CAMPS
You can add on to your child’s full day summer camp experience with half day specialty camps or enroll in just the half day camp – choose the option that’s best for your family. If your child is enrolled in the full day program AND the specialty camp, bus transportation is available between Boys & Girls Club branches.

OTHER INFORMATION

OPTIONAL LUNCH PROGRAM
Our Clubs also offer a daily hot lunch program for just $6 per day.
Monday: 6-inch turkey and cheese sandwich with lettuce and tomato, chips, and drink
Tuesday: Club BBQ – 1-2 hot dogs, chips, cookies and drink
Wednesday: 2 slices of cheese or pepperoni pizza, fruit snacks, and drink
Thursday: 2 chicken tenders, french fries, carrots and ranch dip, and drink
Friday: Club BBQ – Hamburger, chips, cookies and drink

PAYMENT POLICIES
Contracts are billed weekly and cover program hours from 6:30am to 6:00pm from June 3 through August 30, 2024. Payments are due the Friday prior to the week used, with no deductions for absences, vacations, or holidays. A late fee of $10 will apply if fees are not paid by Monday at 6:00pm. All program fees must be kept current to participate in extra activities, including field trips.
